 Removing the original, peeling paint was done by blasting the body with crushed walnut shells. |

 The bed, fenders and tail gate were removed and painted separately. |

 After painting, the truck was re-assembled. |
 Devco brought in a graphic artist to give the truck a personal touch. |
 Art, the graphics guy, hand-painted portions of my Big Bear map and the Sidekick logo on both sides of the truck. On the fenders he painted our company name. I limited the graphics to the top of the fenders because I know what brush does to paint. |

During the 18 months it took to build the truck, I continued to drive it. This picture was taken before the graphics were added and before Hansen's Engineering built the custom bumper. |
