A machined shank is screwed onto the existing wheel studs. This method seems stronger than others I have seen. |

An aluminum spacer slides over the shanks leaving a new set of studs exposed. |

Checking the lug nuts occasionally is all that is necessary to insure that your adapters and wheels are safely secured with the Continental Tire & Wheel adapters. |
