Shifting Into 4WD -- $23.95 Shifting Into 4WD is Harry Lewellyn's new
4WD handbook, Volume I. This book is well organized, illustrated and
indexed. You'll love the cute coyote character and all the cartoon-like
illustrations that provide tips, hints and guidance. From basics to
advanced techniques, the book provides both a witty and informative look
at four wheeling. The "Quick Look" reference inside the front
cover and the index are examples of the thought that has gone into this
long-awaited benchmark of 4WD information. Volume I is subtitled the
"SUV Owner's Handbook," but don't be fooled regarding content.
There's something for even the most experienced 4WD buff. Volume II, The
Advanced 4WD Handbook, is scheduled for release in March 2002, and will be
filled with advanced 4WD concepts and techniques (tire foot prints, tire
pressure measurements, etc.).
5 1/2" x 8 1/2", soft cover, illustrations, 342 pages. 2001.
