Calico Mountains Map
Newly revised and released

This map was originally drawn in 1992 before the Calico Mountains became popular. With
the recently opened OHV route (green sticker) between the campground at the Town of Calico
(county park) and the lands managed by the BLM, this area will only get more popular.

Johnny Joint Tool
Recently we tested a tool that makes disassembling the Johnny Joint easy--and by the way,  it makes assembling a Johnny Joint a snap.

You're not seeing double, the vehicle on the left is a Jeep built from all aftermarket parts. We call it an AJ-8. This stands for Aftermarket Jeep and the "8" represents the CJ-8 body (although is is shorten--bobbed). This aluminum body, coil suspension 4x4 was built from aftermarket parts.  It was assembled at the 2003 Easter Jeep Safari and is put on display at shows where Rick promotes his products. A video is available documenting the process and you'll find a two part story in the Off-Road Adventures Magazine (July & August 2008)
