The Big Bear Video features a trail system in the mountains northeast of Los Angeles, California, beginning with an easy drive through Holcomb Valley. The group stops to explore remnants of the mining operations from the late 1800s at selected points-of-interest. From here the trails become progressively harder. On the White Mountain Trail (rated "more difficult") Rick is joined by the 4x4 club who adopted the trail. The last two trails on the video are John Bull and Dishpan Springs, rated "most difficult." The John Bull Trail is a rocky narrow road that follows the ridge overlooking the desert. The Dishpan Springs Trail connects Big Bear with the Lake Arrowhead district on a steep climb, providing you can get across Deep Creek without swamping your vehicle.  1992.  Running time approximately 46 minutes.
